Dr. Niall Barr is a senior lecturer in the Department Of War Studies at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst. The holder of a doctorate from St Andrews University in the British Legion and veterans organizations, his areas of expertise are World War 1, World War 11, and veterans associations. He has contributed chapters on Waterloo and El Alamein to the Hutchinson Book of Battle Plans. He currently lives in southern England.

Dr. Russell Hart is a senior lecturer in the Department of History at Ohio State University. His specialities are-the British and German Armies in World War II. He is the co-author of German Tanks of World War II and Weapons and Fighting Tactics of the Waffen-SS and currently lives in Ohio.
